Role Summary: Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Intermediate level professional positions requiring subject matter knowledge and experience, more independence in problem solving and decision making.
Essential Responsibilities: Require over all understanding the inter-company accounting in compliance with US GAAP. Specific task will include the following:
Detailed analysis and accounting of affiliate current account between 100+ entities across the globe where GE has operations
Monthly settlement MJE to transfer / adjustment entries across 100 + entities in USD currency and perform FX analysis for local statutory purposes
Perform reconciliation for various incoming and outgoing billing accounts on monthly basis
Provide support for FX analysis and cash pool / cash maps for cash disbursement across various entities
Requires details analysis on daily / weekly basis for cash settlement across 9 segments and corporate / treasury team
Support analysis for various deferred charge account for corporate
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Finance). Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Accounting Operations.
