Role Summary:
The Core Tech Sr Staff Technical Program Manager for Digital Acquisitions will be responsible for the proper planning and integration of Digital infrastructure and shared technology services. This will include discovery, due diligence, partnerships in technology strategy, infrastructure recommendations and decisions, integration planning, budgeting, and alignment of resources. This role will require partnership and collaboration across GE Digital.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Planning, Resource Scheduling, Budgeting, Due Diligence, Delivery, Control, and Closing
  • Define and manage project schedules and budgets, including managing and delivering on synergy targets.
  • Manage and control project scope, define project roles and responsibilities
  • Manage multiple cross-functional, matrix teams to ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and with the required level of quality
  • Establish and maintain appropriate level of communication with stakeholders
  • Assist business team in defining requirements and driving simplification
  • Assist acquisition team in the development and maintenance of the Acquisition Playbook & Toolset from Digital learnings.
  • Manage project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Track and report on project and deliverable status and manage variances
  • Manage daily activities, issue resolution and communication across technical execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as defined in the Acquisition Playbook
  • Provide professional oversight to the 3rd party contracted project resources
  • Work as a business partner with clients and users to evaluate / improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions
  • Ensure Core Tech IT standards and practices are pursued.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of team leadership.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of Acquisition/Divestiture experience.

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure and GE standards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Must be willing to travel. ~15%

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong experience with Acquisitions and Divestitures.
  • Understanding of Information Security.
  • Understanding of GE Technology Infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization.
