Role Summary: Provide Quality support functions and act as the Quality Focal point, to be involved in daily production operations with oversight on processes and quality related issues in the assigned cell or area.
Essential Responsibilities: • Accountable to drive GEAPS through daily rigour of CCC and ensure daily attendance of stake holders. • Conduct workstation and in-process surveillance of assigned cell daily activities and monitor for compliance of the following: Authority requirements Workscope requirements ESM requirements GEESM requirements – QCWI, SOP General surveillance for compliance to basic engineering practices, best shop practices and safety requirements. Monitor for router sequences, task certification requirements, defect recording, tasks disposition are being diligently followed and claimed/signed off after task completion. • Ensure proper daily work practices in cells are being followed: Handover Practices Tool box daily check Equipment daily check Pre & post installation check Good housekeeping standard “5S • Establish plans and lead changes driven by in-process surveillance and quality issues data by applying AMPS tools and procedures. Initiate corrective and preventive actions as necessary and provide reports on significant deficiencies or events. • Responsible to support Quality Engineers in performing Competency Assessment for Approval Holders and act as resource for Quality investigations and other related issues. • Perform Scheduled Audits with the Quality Engineers for the assigned cells / areas and continue to guide and drive production team for closure. • Conduct Quality Training or Flowdown to relevant personnel if required as part of the improvement or control plan. • Coach or guide relevant personnel to adhere to high standard of shop practices and documentation management.
Qualifications/Requirements: •Minimum age 21 years. •Minimum 7 years practical experience and is previous Approval holder in Engine overhaul, Heavy Maintenance or Special Processes functions •Shall be able to listen, speak, read and write in English.
