Role Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for developing targeted customer strategies that meets business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy. It includes the responsibility to generate new business such as new locomotives, modernization, maintenance service agreements (MSA's), long-term parts agreements and digital solutions.
Essential Responsibilities: • Responsible for relationship & sales process management for assigned customers; • Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and leadership in their execution • Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points focused on desired outcomes that enabling GE offerings; • Drive & create enterprise solutions opportunities for assigned customers using best practice methodologies. • Understand and influence customer’s investment priorities and decision-making • Build and maintain influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels; • Provide specific and actionable customer feedback that our development teams can use to ensure alignment of requirements and roadmaps to meet specific and broad customer needs. • Establish mutually beneficial relationship with all levels of the company's organization; • Manage the sales process from opportunity identification through contract flow down; • Along with the team and other key functions be accountable for customer satisfaction, evaluation, plans and follow through; • Participate in developing total quality management initiatives as they relate to company requirements and customer satisfaction; • Improve the cross-functional cooperation in the region;
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university • Solid Sales, Program Management or Customer Support experienced with heavy machinery • Fluent in English and Portuguese, Spanish desirable • Willingness and ability to travel within assigned region 50% of time
