Role Summary: Responsible in leading the VCP Opportunities (Variable Cost Productivity) found in the transportation of freight, into and across the USA for the Manufacturing and Distribution sites. In an effort to meet our customers’ needs at the minimum cost. The role will identify and implement key VCP projects that drive Transportation Cost with in the current operation Plan for USA.
Essential Responsibilities: • Developing a Deck of VCP Projects per site • Helping and facilitating discussions and Action Work Outs that lead to new VCP Projects • Developing and leading operating mechanisms in the different sites • Leading the Group of Interns defined as part of the VCP Team. • Developing, measuring and reporting process improvements around VCP • Working cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, supply chain and finance to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes.
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Minimum 2 years of experience working in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management. 2. Understands trade and compliance regulations in relation to moving freight into the region. 4. Business/financial acumen, including ability to motivate, influence, solve complex problems, and drive change at all levels of the organization. 5. Ability to meet deadline in a fast paces changing environment. 6. Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of time.
Quality Specific Goals: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

Desired Characteristics: 1. Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering 2. Ability to work on cross-functional, multi-cultural teams 4.
