Role Summary:
As the North America Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for 100% ownership of the GE Waukesha gas engine new product orders plan for the Northern Americas region.



Essential Responsibilities:
As the North America Regional Sales Manager, you will:
• Work with internal stakeholders and external channel partners on demand generation, and implementation of an orders strategy for new product opportunities resulting in pipeline development and orders intake to meet stated regional goals
• Work closely with Commercial Operations, Marketing and Product Line teams to develop and align products offerings to meet regional and customer needs including pricing, value proposition and service strategy
• Integrate with local and global peer network to leverage best practices
• Lead regional pacing calls with assigned Channel Partners and key accounts
• Interface with Regional Business Operations and Finance teams to provide monthly and quarterly orders commitments and associated updates in salesforce.com
• Engage end user accounts in parallel with Channel Partner activities to identify new segment opportunities
• Work with appropriate stakeholders to cultivate relationships and opportunities with new and existing customers
• Act as liaison for product questions between end customer / Distributor and local / HQ resources to support project development cycle
• Participate in regional product conferences to expand product visibility and awareness with EPC, End Users and associated product segments
• Lead project specific risk reviews in conjunction with Commercial Operations including R / EDRM Process



Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited College or University (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales)
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with high speed rotating equipment in the Energy Distribution, Power Generation or Gas Compression Industries
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time or as business requires, majority within North America with some international travel required



Desired Characteristics:

• Previous commercial or product experience with Reciprocating Gas Engines, preferably GE Waukesha products
• Previous experience in a new product or service sales position
• Previous experience with aftermarket reciprocating service sales
• Strong commercial and organizational skills
• Well-developed business acumen and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Basic Computer knowledge. Experience in MS Office, Outlook, Excel
• Six Sigma Green Belt certified (GE employees only)
• Knowledge of GE network, businesses, initiatives and programs
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to influence others
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Effective problem identification and solution skills
