Role Summary:
This role leads a team of centralized specialist resources who provide execution support to multiple GE Businesses to enable compliance to various Product Regulations. The Sustaining Compliance Leader works with the Business Interface Leaders and Regional Leaders, as well as other organizations as necessary, to provide sustainable and consistent approaches that allow for standardized execution, reduction of duplicative work, and minimized risk of non-compliance.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain processes and tools to provide execution support for PRC obligations. Supplier Outreach, Product and Legal Entity registrations and Reporting
• Implements the PRC Enterprise Standard by providing governance mechanisms that both train relevant teams and minimizes risk to GE brand and reputation
• Provides oversight of the PRCSS Training program and plans. Work collaboratively to get the right content and the right trainers per business needs
• Driving offering planning via roadmaps and ensuring consistency with PRC Frameworks. Drive clarity by defining and prioritizing the execution objectives, critical success factors, metrics and deliverables with the team.
• Working with the Business Interface and Region Leaders to prioritize the offerings the Sustaining Compliance team delivers to ensure they efficiently meet the business product teams needs as well as meet the Regulator’s defined obligations. Coordinate responses to Customer Requests relevant to activities performed by the team.
• Motivates the team and drives a bias for action on meeting their commitments to their customers and to GE
• Works collaboratively with other roles to rollout the implementation of programs and frameworks. Maintain the data to support metrics and give feedback on ongoing improvement opportunities
• In all developments consider enhancing the connection to and the capability of the Digital Thread

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Bachelors Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline or 10 years of experience leading regulatory processes for a major corporation
2. Minimum of 5 years GE experience in project leadership. Needs to include cross functional execution experience such as manufacturing, development/technology, sourcing, EHS and Legal
3. Demonstrated execution at meeting operational goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget
4. Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, the full product lifecycle
5. Familiarity with global regulations and regulatory standards

Desired Characteristics:
1. Advanced degree in engineering, science, law, business or related field
2. Strategic planner and thinker with demonstrated problem solving ability and able to drive change across organizations
3. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and ability to motivate teams
4. Knowledge of International industrial product regulations and standards
5. Familiar with GE products and services
6. Ability to effectively partner with internal & external parties across multi-disciplinary areas
7. Ability to simplify complex regulatory requirements into actionable business requirements and practices. Prior experience in executing operational compliance.
8. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with strong oral and written communication skills
