Essential Responsibilities: • Develop and implement commodity strategy in assigned commodities.
• Evaluate supplier cost structure to obtain best overall value on behalf of GE O&G TJ.
• Assist divisions in the coordination of Supplier Audit in conjunction with SQE team.
• Liaise with divisions, to coordinate cost savings initiatives, and off-shore sourcing based on requirements.
• Lead cost savings initiatives with negotiation, alternate sourcing strategies and qualifying potential suppliers.
• The implementation of purchasing management and supplier management processes, and to develop their jurisdiction by supplier
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical &Electrical engineering, machinery or related discipline. • Minimum 3 years purchasing experience. Experience in commodities of Machining, Magnet Wire, Bearing. • High motivation and ability to cooperate with an international team • Highly developed time management and follow up skills and the ability to multi-task. • English communication, excellent presentation and negotiation skills are essential in this role. • Good knowledge of Excel & PPT
