Role Summary: Within the Renewable Power sector, the Hydro market is expected to grow in the comings years especially in the medium/small, service and digital markets. Hydro has today a global industrial footprint in Europe, China, India, North-America and Latin America. Within Hydro Services, we are therefore seeking for a Sales and Proposal Specialist, based in Birr
will Responsible for driving profitable Hydro growth in Germany and Switzerland through increasing sales of GE's world class Hydro new and retrofit/services markets. The successful candidate will continue to develop existing customer relationships as well as develop new clients and coordinate with the Hydro Business support and Central functions including Product Management to identify and influence key products and technical solutions for the Customers
Accountable for contributing to commercial growth and achieving financing target within the Region
Cooperates with other GE stakeholders active within the region to drive customer intimacy with all keys decision makers and influencers, mapping and strategy development for a given Customer
Drives a culture of opportunity visibility, data accuracy and team work
Works with absolute integrity and full adherence to the Ethics and Compliance rules
Represents Hydro at selected/defined key Power events
Bachelor’s degree with solid knowledge of Hydro Technology
5 years of Business Development/Sales experiences or equivalent in the designated regional market place
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work independently. Strong problem solving skills
Fluent in German & English language, French an asset
Ability to influence cross functional Business teams to drive sales strategy and growth in the region
Proven successes in managing complex sales projects and implement appropriate partnerships with stakeholders inside and outside the region
Knowledge of DACH energy market and competitive landscape
Demonstrated product/service knowledge
Passion for customer success : demonstrated collaboration skills with co-creation of new customer oriented solution to meet customer needs
Understand Customer business models and leverage Hydro Business solutions to create customer competitive advantage
Strong presence with outstanding presentation, negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
