Role Summary: Responsible and accountable for core IT applications domain in the areas of ERP, BI, GE Transportation pillar applications, region specific applications and other enterprise standards, management and coordination of development, support and maintenance efforts with global and regional teams.
Essential Responsibilities: • Manage projects in the assigned region, including deployment of new locations; ensure business deliverables are committed, communicated clearly, and delivered on time. • Support daily business processes in Oracle ERP interacting with and coaching end users. • Drive BI expansion in the region, collecting requirements from business and transitioning them to design/development teams to get analytic output such as reports. • Support integrations with third-party systems and applications and ensure interface quality and availability. • Prepare, track and manage project budget aligned with regional Financial targets • Research, evaluate and take responsibility for implementing solutions to operational and process-wise standards and needs of the business. • Identify appropriate resources needed, assign responsibilities and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of project deadlines and successful transition to support and maintenance teams. • Serve as a single point of contact for core applications in the assigned region. • Own resolution of technical issues and systemic problems in deployed applications. • Manage long-term application support, including work with external partners and internal teams. • Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of large/complex IT solutions for business processes. • Proactively identify technologies & new functionalities with capabilities to fulfill current and future business needs. • Ensure compliance to GE policies and procedures. • Participate in assigned global or cross-regional initiatives and engage in business travel as necessary. • Maintain and apply current knowledge of information technology and help determine if/how it can be used to add value to the business. • Support regional business expansion in terms of project management, execution and maintenance. • Collaborate and support cross-business / cross-regional projects when needed and leverage best practices to be applied in own region. • Manage and maintain effective communication with business teams and with vertical leadership. • Attend necessary trainings and seek the ways to increase expertise, knowledge and leadership skills. • Work as a business partner with client leaders and users to evaluate/improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions for business processes • Participate in the preparation of long-range systems plans and assure that they are in concert with business objectives and goals • Identify critical path decisions, make recommendations, and influence program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited College or University • Minimum 5 years of experience with current Information Technologies and their influence on Business functions. • Experience with Oracle EBS –modules Financials, SC, OM, WMS; working knowledge on PL/SQL • Expertise in ERP application implementation • Detailed knowledge of Oracle technology stack • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Russian and English • Proven experience developing business requirements and managing completion of projects • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Strong analytic and problem solving skills • Being comfortable with change and actively driving improvements • Able to travel
Desired Characteristics: • Leadership Training Program Experience (ITLP Graduate) • Lean and Six Sigma knowledge and experience (Green Belt certified) • Experience of managing projects in different countries • Project Management methodology (such as PMP, Prince2, etc.)
