Role Summary: Product Sales Manager, Environmental Control Systems – East Europe, Power Services responsible for orders, commitments and convertible orders for the product portfolio. Provide technical sales support to the Account management teams and liaise with Product Line on market needs. Support deal negotiations & closure with customers partnering with account managers. Develop winning strategies, to achieve order closure. The position is based in Moscow
Essential Responsibilities: The Product Sales Manager ECS will translate concepts, develop processes that meet business needs across the organization and be involved in long-term planning to contribute to the overall business strategy.
• Deep technical background and experience in ECS technologies • Deep knowledge of product value chain, business case driver, market economics, and competitive landscape • Sales professional with convincing track record and focus on growth
In addition, this role will:
• Demonstrate deep technical expertise • Own uprates, repairs & non-standard solutions • Upsells complex solutions value • Owns an OP for technology • Is a technical sales face of GE • Drive the “product campaigns” in the allocated geography/technology
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business from an accredited university or college • 6+ years of experience in product -related engineering, sales and/or marketing including minimum 3 years in a customer-facing role • Fluent English and Russian • Ability to travel regularly – estimated at 50% of time
Desired Characteristics: • Broad and deep understanding of the commercial cycle – including product line/marketing/sales/commercial operations/engineering • Ability to influence cross-functional business teams to drive sales and growth in defined product portfolio • Knowledge of the market economics and competitive issues, project development and financing • Strong product knowledge and understanding of NPI and product positioning strategy • Previous experience in commercial operations / understanding of the proposal development process and tools • Long-term business mindset • Strong presentation skills at the executive level • Experience of GE’s, ECLP or CLP is an advantage
