Role Summary: The Sales Manager develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals·Provide leadership for sales to assigned customers through the formulation and execution for strategies
Essential Responsibilities: Own Control Solutions Orders operating plan for the assigned territory while meeting quarterly and annual orders commitment and sales metrics such as cash, as sold margins and receivables. - Own regional future planning and forecasting for Control Solutions in the region specified. - Build customer relationships with the assigned customer for sales - Support the assigned customer in sales activities and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunities - Coordinate activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, and delivery - Negotiate contracts as required - Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base - Work with Marketing to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customers - Make recommendations for continued growth - Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in specific market and lead opportunity planning - Drive cross-functional coordination with the Commercial Operations, Services, Engineering and Project Management teams.
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Controls/Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical engineering - Demonstrated skills in Selling and growing orders volume - Should possess sound knowledge on Gas Turbine & Steam Turbine Controls -Strong background in DCS is must - Knowledge on Mark Vie or equivalent products - Knowledge on Rotating equipment - Prior experience dealing with the Oil & Gas and Power Plant industries
