Role Summary: Develop Multi Brand & Repower Business for Service in UK & Ireland. Lead sustainable growth in the region focused on this market segment development.
Essential Responsibilities: Lead Contractual & Transactional business development in UK & Ireland focusing on Long term contract opportunities and in high value transactional business for machines not manufactured by GE.
The position will include also the Repowering (both GE & other manufacturers) part of the business in the whole life cycle (dismantling, installation of New Units, refurbishing and re-commercialization of repowered units).
Develop Multi Brand opportunities that allows GE to better position within the service market. Strategically approach the market to win over new customers.
Provide competitive market feedback to the business on any proposals development
Provide customer insights to key service offerings for New Product development as well as competitor intelligence and be the lead
Drive strategic agreements with Service Partners that facilitate business volume increase, including Non-Disclosure & Master Services Agreements negotiations
Develop the business model that allows us to be successful in the UFS market including but not limited to: o Cost models for strategic targets o Contract structuring for multivendor contractual and transactional markets. Including market price estimation o Sourcing development o Marketing of GE capabilities o Configuration management & technical support for targeted fleets
Leverage other departments to provide competitive / wining market proposals.
Coordinate team member activities to assure on time responses.
Establish and maintain customer / partner relations at senior level decision-maker levels
External & Internal contacts: • External Customers • Sales Team • Global Project & Services • Product Service & Warranty • Parts & Maintenance • Other Technology teams within Renewables, Power Generation Technology and Energy Technology • Finance • Global Supply Chain • Sourcing • Quality • Suppliers • External Service Providers. Partners management
Qualifications/Requirements: • Experience in wind business, preferably. • Previous experience in engineering design or field support department of other wind turbine manufacturers • Good knowledge of the wind industry, markets & wind products in the portfolio • Fluent in English
