Role Summary:
The UX Designer works within global design team.
Key responsibilities:
Create digital solutions through deep user research and human centric design.
Solution should help in driving outcomes like economic benefits, efficiency and improved user and patient experience.
Create Intuitive and compelling digital user interfaces for products as well as enterprise level applications.

Essential Responsibilities:
Be a leading member of the Global Design team to create world class user experience and digital solutions across GE healthcare products.
Develop design strategy and lead design in programs.
Drive user research to gather insights and translate insight in to design solutions.
Execute designs by leveraging design philosophies rooted in empathy and principles that ensure an extraordinary sensitivity to human interaction, ease-of-use, and user experiences across the GE Healthcare portfolio.
Collaborating with industrial designers, software engineering, and business teams to create and execute individual product and platform-level strategies that promote ease-of-use and consistency of design attributes across GE Healthcare products.
Defining project plans and managing ongoing execution of projects. Projects may incorporate a mix of internal staff and external consultants.
Explore opportunities of design intervention across GE healthcare , apply design thinking beyond interaction design and create disruptive solution.
Create advanced concepts considering need and future trends.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Qualifications:

Graduation or post-graduation in interaction design or similar discipline from a reputed design institute.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as an interaction designer.
Experience of going through of complete development cycle i.e. User Research, Insights, Ideation, Detail Design, Prototypes and Validation.
Experience of conducting design thinking workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience of designing touch screen user interfaces. Familiarity with different mobile OS.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and work within a structured process.
Strong communications (written and verbal), negotiation, and problem solving skills.
Strong level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%, including overnight stays.
Expert in the use of interaction design tools such as such as Photoshop, illustrator, UI prototyping tool etc.
Portfolio should have impactful examples of user research, conceptual designs, detail design, prototypes, and final commercialized products. Work should demonstrate strong sense of aesthetics and attention to details.

India (Country) Specific Qualifications:
Must be legally authorized to work in the India full-time
Must be willing to relocate to our Bangalore GE John F Welch Technology center facility and work full-time
Must be 18 years of age or older

Experience of working with large scale Software MNCs or Startups focused on creating solutions using cutting edge technologies.
Experience working within global, cross-functional teams.
Track record of developing and executing design languages across portfolio.
