Role Summary: The Marketing Communications Leader will develop, lead, and execute a wide variety of communication initiatives that support the strategic and operating goals of GE Water & Process Technologies.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Marketing Communications Leader, you will:
Develop and execute communication strategy and initiatives that pair customers with products and programs that solve their most critical water problems
Have familiarity with: public relations, branding, collateral, executive presentations, videos, social media, advertising, promotions, webinars, web content, trade shows, technical seminars, and customer events
Lead and manage projects that incorporate both external and internal priorities, as defined by the Chief Marketing Officer
Demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy
Work in close collaboration with other Marketing Communications team members
Work across the GE W&PT business and with HR on employee communications
Manage activities of outsourced resources (vendors) as needed to assist in execution of the above communication deliverables. Report on outcomes of above deliverables
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or Business
Minimum of 5 years of Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications or Employee Communications experience
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as leadership and presentation skills
Broad knowledge of digital, social, print, video and web-production technologies
Background with technical or industrial business to business companies
Ability to manage internal & external resources including budget preparation
Ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects and resources while maintaining high quality of work and integrity
Strong experience in managing marketing communications programs
Positive attitude and resilience in ambiguous circumstances
Ability to operate in and navigate a matrix environment
