Role Summary: The Commercial Learning Leader will be responsible for developing and executing a commercial learning strategy across GE Healthcare's global sales force.
Essential Responsibilities: The Commercial Learning Leader will be the architect of redefining sales force competency within GE Healthcare. This will primarily include understanding the goals of each of our businesses and identifying corresponding competencies required within our sales force to meet them. Further, this role will focus on building a sales competency framework/model, developing a learning curriculum, creating a library of training offerings, contemporizing our content delivery, measuring impact, and executing a global sales training plan. The commercial learning leader will also develop a “pre" and "post" training competency measurement process to track improvements in skill levels and their consequent impact on business outcomes.
The commercial learning leader will be a critical member of the core "MCAP" Steering Committee and GE Healthcare’s Commercial Leadership Team. While reporting to the Commercial Excellence Leader, GE Healthcare, the incumbent will work closely with the business and region marketing and sales leadership teams. The Commercial Learning Leader will also represent GE Healthcare in the company’s cross business commercial learning community.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelors/Masters level degree from a well established/accredited university. • 12+ years of overall experience. • Deep experience in developing learning solutions for the sales function in a highly competitive and dynamic market environment. • Understanding of global markets and work cultures. • Experience operating in a digital learning environment including learning management and training delivery. • Exceptional spoken and written communicator. • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills. Ability to operate effectively in a complex organizational structure. • Experienced in influencing and collaborating with "C suite" level executives. • Unyielding standards of professional and personal integrity.
Desired Characteristics: • Earlier sales/sales management experience strongly preferred. • Experience in Healthcare or related technology industries preferred.
