Role Summary: Serves as key coordinator of Facilities IT infrastructure
Essential Responsibilities: • Works within the framework of established operating procedures to implement new or updated technologies to the infrastructure platform for the business • Provides support related to Facilities for Network Upgrades, Moves, & New Buildings • Focuses on Layer One Infrastructure (Structured Cable), Networking, Voice, Wireless, & Audio Visual aspects of the business
Qualifications/Requirements: Quality Specific Goals: • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required • Responsible for data integrity of the system inventory, as applicable • Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction Qualifications: • Minimum two years IT experience • Experience with Audio Visual technologies • Experience with WAN, LAN, & Voice technologies • Experience with physical cabling best-practices • Experience with one or more networking protocols (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, SNA, etc.) • Served as a project & resource manager Preferred Qualifications: • BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent • Vendor certification (Cisco CCNA, CCNP or other cable, network, & voice certification) • Analytic, creative and technical problem solver • Greenbelt certified
