Role Summary:
The Financial Analyst position will report directly to the site Finance Leader and provide financial analysis for 2 P&Ls as well as provide cost accounting support for the Manufacturing Operations. Additionally, you will drive optimal performance (cost, fulfillment, quality, cash) and profitability through the Supply Chain and Project execution

Essential Responsibilities:
As the Lead Finance Specialist - Manufacturing Operations

  • Be responsible for fixed asset accounting and control
  • Performing iontercompany accounting (IBS Reconciliation and Clearing Deferred)
  • Be responsible for auditing and verifying Inventory cycle count
  • Support the Manufacturing Plant Manager and team and provide special analysis as requested
  • Support Quality Control in the COQ (Cost oif Quality) meetings and to monitor and report scrap
  • Coordinate the annual physical inventory
  • Be responsible for month end closing including preparing general accounting and cost accounting entries
  • Be responsible for preparing the following monthly reports including DR14B, Backlog report, Overtime report



Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Finance
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Auditing and/or Financial Accounting


Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience with Cost Accounting
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal/ persuasion skills with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally at all layers of the Business
  • Ability to identify operational issues and recommend improvements in writing
