Role Summary: The Strategic Key Account Manager (KAM) for Public account is responsible for the long term success of GEHC ASEAN with Government Accounts. In working with the Government, the leader will engage with Key Opinion Leaders and Government administrative and regulatory bodies on the topics the government outlook and spend on Healthcare. The leader will position GEHC as a partner of choice and drive the uptake of the PPP model.
Essential Responsibilities: • Interact with Key Opinion Leaders in care areas; manage professional relations with government & administrative bodies. • Position GEHC as the partner of choice in the Government’s 5 year plan for the Healthcare sector; drive the PPP model actively • Act as a primary customer point of contact and represent One GE Healthcare in case of multimodality projects and cross-P&L business events and ultimately accountable for issue resolution • Identify unique synergies/opportunities that benefit both the account and GE Healthcare’s business objectives. • Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period. • Able to leverage across GE businesses if needed to offer the most comprehensive and complete solution available. • Be the trusted advisor and customer advocate for key account stakeholders and executive sponsors. • Manage multiple projects and effectively communicate progress updates to GE and customer leadership on a monthly/quarterly basis. • Effectively communicate to GE stakeholders the customer’s vision, goals, challenges, needs • Drive projects and timelines both internally and externally to completion. • Actively identify & drive boundaryless selling opportunities for key customers across regions and products. Promote Service offerings, identify and escalate commercial service needs. • Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities. Provide on-going feedback to management, modalities and marketing. • Work across all GE business and leverage the GE Store whenever necessary • Follow GE policies, procedures and operating mechanisms. Ensure knowledge of compliance of integrity and company policies.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Education to Bachelor Degree level. • 8+ years experience in Business Management or Sales / Marketing OR equivalent years of experience progressive leadership positions within the Healthcare industry with in-depth knowledge of healthcare market. • 5 years experience closing large, complex, strategic deals. • Minimum of 7 years in healthcare industry. • Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills including business plan development. • Strong business acumen; financial and organizational skills. • Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills. • High level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships. • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration and influence at all levels within an organization. • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining a forward-thinking and customer-first attitude.
Desired Characteristics: • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required • Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies • Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or Country / Int’l Law is broken • Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs. • Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.
