Role Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the district management functions (Admin, Service, Field Sales, Inventory, Assembly and Distribution) to ensure conformance to specifications and continuous production consistent with established standards.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Production Supervisor you will:
Comply with all safety, health, environmental and quality Management System requirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position
Lead on ensuring technical compliance with the EHS (Environment Health & Safety) requirements of the Company’s stakeholders, customers and regulators
Ensure customer requirements are serviced within established operating procedures
Diagnose problems and recommend or implement appropriate solutions
Oversee operations to achieve cost, delivery and quality objectives Manage inventory turns (reduce slow or non-moving inventory) and identify material substitutions are done in an economical manner
Track financial activities for the facility (invoicing, local purchases, inventory levels and service utilization)
Prepare annual budget and manage expenses to budget report monthly financials to management
Administer facility contracts, maintenance and improvements
Direct and participate in sales activities to maintain customer base, develop new customers and monitor customer satisfaction
Develop and execute opportunities to increase services and ancillary revenue
Monitor and communicate new products and specifications, knowledge of customers, rig count, competition (strengths and weaknesses) and industry trends
Ensure compliance of Fleet Management Program Maintain all company vehicles with necessary tools and safety equipment; ensure all necessary repairs are conducted in a timely manner and consistent with company policy
Provide support and guidance to all levels of district personnel including training / coaching in areas of problem solving, creative thinking and technical skills
Human Resource responsibilities including staffing and organizing the District with qualified personnel; conduct performance appraisals and one-on-one meetings; counseling personnel for personal development and improvement; training; adhere to and reinforce policies and procedures
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution with a minimum 11 years of experience in Wireline)
Minimum 7 years experience in Wireline
Ability and willingness to travel to the field 50% of the time, as required
Minimum 1 year as FSM or Field Coordinator in Scheduling, rotations, vacations, days off, covering jobs
Team oriented, some SAP skills
Experience in performing Audits
Experience in Explosive Compliance, Radiation Compliance, DOT, Pressure Control
Working knowledge of Mechanical, Electronic and/or Hydraulic tools and techniques; Design Documentation Development, Control and Record Keeping; GE Equipment Identification; Disassemble, Inspect and Assemble GE Equipment; Equipment Troubleshooting (GE Equipment & OEM Equipment); Manufacturing Processes; Corrective Action and Customer Complaint Investigations; Customer Service & Business Development; Customer Property; Repair & Remanufacturing; Rental Equipment; Sales Order Management; Infrastructure & Asset Integrity Management; Department of Transportation (DOT) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Regulations; Mentoring and Training
Intermediate Computer Skills
Advanced Language Skills, Advanced Mathematical Skills and Advanced Reasoning Ability
Ability to manage and cultivate relationships at all levels of customer and GE organizations
Strong organizational and negotiation skills

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), preferred but not required
