Role Summary:
Provide Sectors manufacturing engineering leadership in the attainment of goals with respect to safety, quality, cost, production and compliance. Lead a team of manufacturing engineers to achieve goals in asset utilization, process / manufacturing loss improvement, delivered quality and cost reduction. Department has a leading role in knowledge management.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition you will :


  • Define and control production process
  • Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment
  • Direct process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence using lean six sigma tools, AWOs and lean events
  • Select, hire, train, develop, and provide ongoing leadership and direction of assigned team
  • Interface with other organizations and vendors to assure requirements are met on time
  • Partner with Sectors business leader to structure the business for growth through capacity, capability, cost and cycle analysis

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
