Role Summary: This individual will support Global Capital Advisory activities across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The candidate will assist in structuring and executing creative third party financing solutions (equity and debt) in support of projects which incorporate GE equipment and/or services, and develop and maintain databases critical for evaluating opportunities and growing market knowledge.
• Support the Global Capital Advisory team with deal origination, structuring and execution activities • Evaluate investment opportunities and own the financial modelling work stream on each transaction - demonstrated and strong excel modelling experience and analytical skills essential. Support the Global Capital Advisory team to develop and maintain relationships with investors and financial institutions including private equity funds, infrastructure funds, institutional investors, banks, ECAs and DFIs. • Create and maintain a database to capture critical investor information (e.g. returns expectations, risk appetite, closed deals, markets and sectors of focus, etc.) for the benefit of the Global Capital Advisory team • Assist in the preparation of external marketing information (e.g. preparation of the Information Memoranda), presentations and internal documentation related to financing initiatives and specific transactions • Work with the Global Capital Advisory team to negotiate, structure, and execute project finance deals which enable the sale of GE equipment and/or services • Monitor online energy and infrastructure information resources in order to track projects, financing trends and industry developments • Attend client and investor meetings as required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent knowledge and experience • Proven years financial services experience in project finance, banking, corporate/transaction advisory, equity investments, private equity, etc • Top class excel modeling skills, ideally in a project finance context • Familiarity with typical project finance structures and contractual frameworks • Familiarity with the infrastructure and energy industries • Experience dealing with investors and banks

• Credit and project management experience • Experience of working in a matrix organization • Team player with a focus on closing transactions and developing relationships • Self-starter who can structure and manage work on their own to get needed outcomes • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • MBA, CFA, Economics, or Engineering degrees or equivalent knowledge and experience • Emerging markets experience • Language : English necessary, other European languages are highly desirable.
