Role Summary:
This role is part of the GE Healthcare Digital Global Marketing team and will co-develop and drive the marketing strategy for GE Healthcare's analytics and cloud solutions to help ensure the business achieves its growth and share goals while optimizing commercial execution. In addition, identify programs to enhance customer loyalty and installed base retention. The marketing manager will also provide input to the solutions roadmap.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis and win/loss tracking to quantify market opportunity and identify product/service and commercial strategies for growth of analytics solutions.
  • Successfully defines and secures funding for annual integrated marketing plan and budget
  • Orchestrates research to assess market and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buying cycles and personas. Identify customers’ clinical and economic needs, values and desired benefits.
  • Builds a global market requirements document that prioritizes customer segments and business opportunities.
  • Partners with Region Product/Service Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to provide input to the product development roadmap and to develop, test and prototype new product ideas.
  • Develop a plan and budget for evidence generation to support selected new product/service introductions (NPI/NSI) and installed base products.
  • Develop inputs to support business case for NPI/NSI’s including target pricing and product/offering positioning.
  • Define brand (naming & trademarks), value proposition(s), and competitive positioning claims roadmap for new and existing offerings.
  • Works with professional societies and advocacy groups to identify and select Key Opinion Leaders for thought leadership and awareness building. Supports development of regional KOLs in collaboration with Region Marketing.
  • Builds and executes global launch plans, including value proposition, segmentation / positioning, target pricing, awareness and advocacy strategies, channel strategy and sales enablement (in coordination with Regional Product Marketing).
  • Coordinates development of marketing assets and training materials
  • Develops programs that improve the customer experience of the installed base in support of installed base retention.
  • Utilizes Gold Standard marketing practices and skills to develop a global marketing plan (portfolio management, marketing strategy, customer segmentation and targeting, positioning and value proposition development, message and market assets development, etc.) to grow global orders and share alternatively. Ensures that regional marketing plans are aligned with the global marketing plan and collaborates with regional marketing on selecting the appropriate marketing mix.
  • Collaborates with Advertising & Promotion and Communications to develop a communications plan in support of the marketing objective

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Experience in HCIT, software, analytics or related field
  • Experience in marketing for cloud environment
  • Healthcare product/industry acumen
  • Leadership experience in a cross-functional or highly-matrixed organization
  • Experience having owned/shaped/led growth vision and marketing strategy for global brand
  • Proven stellar oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and process thinking
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding
  • Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
  • Strong influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
