Role Summary: This position will assist the controller with a broad scope of financial, operational, and reporting responsibilities. Responsibilities includes but are not limited to the complete P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital, Functional Expenses, Planning and Forecasting, Manufacturing and Project variances, as well as standard and adhoc reporting.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Manufacturing Cost Accountant, you will:
Monitor project margins in coordination with project managers and operations
Implement processes as instructed by Region project controlling
Produce on time, accurate, and reliable financial information in ERPs and Keops (actuals and forecast)
Participate in monthly site project reviews
Perform Risk assessment on project portfolio and provisions
Explain variations in sales and backlog margin between tender and execution
Complete the analysis of u/o recovery of production overheads
Complete an analysis and challenge of cash by project
Perform controlling of R&D projects: operational and financial follow up (depending on sites)
Assist with the management of site project controller’s population and workload
Perform the validation of tender EAS
Perform controlling of capex projects: operational and financial follow up
Conducts frequent monitoring of overheads by cost center
Communicate with stakeholders both internal and external to the site for various purposes
Regularly monitor Internal control actions and Delegation of Authority compliance
Participate in the monthly analysis financial performance
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minium of 4 years of experience in Finance
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Cost
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
