Role Summary: The Commodity Site Leader for Casting will strategically develop and manage a global supply chain of goods and services to geographically diverse locations, while driving commercial advantage through achievement of quality, cost, usage and delivery goals. Manage direct material volume & control costs while meeting delivery and quality requirements from the supply base.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Commodity Site Leader – Castings you will:
Be the focal point to lead the development and execution of long-term commodity strategies for F&PT Jacksonville Casting purchasing through negotiation plan development and execution
Synergize with other commodity leaders to develop / execute strategy to contract and drive savings.
Drive sourcing program and lead Site Unique material initiatives for strategic sourcing team including management of deflation activities and supply change risk mitigation
Deliver deflation on Year over Year measurable buy, reduce product cost and support fulfillment metrics
Support purchasing team as escalation point for expedites with your assigned vendors; work with vendors to reduce lead times
In accordance with global commodity strategy, drive supplier selection, and manage supplier relation
Support Sourcing Initiatives including cycle time reduction, Emerging Markets, Product Cost Out (PCO), Contractual Service Agreement (CSA) and New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing practices and cash flow improvement
Plan, prepare and execute Commodity Strategy for Jacksonville site – SII, Op Plan
Manage projects in a matrix organization across the globe; including interacting with manufacturing personnel to understand unique supplier requirements of global supply chain business
Assist in the development and implementation of improved business processes
Provide technical guidance to suppliers toward assuring product / process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, finance, manufacturing or operations
Ability and willingness to travel, as required
Strong background in data analysis, cross functional collaboration and project leadership
Previous Manufacturing / Sourcing, negotiations and buyers experience
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Business field from an accredited college or university

Prior leadership experience
Working knowledge of SAP and Oracle Systems
Working knowledge of Tableau, NCR, eSMS, Clear Orbit RCA and SDR systems
