Role Summary: The Senior Engineering Manager for the Hymech discipline within the Brownfield Asset Integrity (BAI) Product line will provide functional leadership across all aspects of the Hydro-Mechanical sub-section. It will include technical leadership/mentorship, project planning and execution support & creation of strategy and vision all having the core principles of safety & quality at the forefront. The role reports to the Engineering Director of the BAI product line
• Leading a team of >15 Engineers globally • Development of a world class engineering team that collaborates and leads service orientated technology • Providing overall technical guidance and development of products & offerings within a Hydro-Mechanical Subsea Service Environment • Manage across leadership (both peers and senior leaders) to ensure delivery and flawless execution of all NPI and Customer specific project deliverables • Interface to regional clients (both internal and external), building relationships and world class response/interaction • Ownership & Development of Digital thread capability across Services • Responsibility for Cost of Quality for BAI Engineering organization and delivery/execution on business agreed targets • Focal point for VCP/Cost out activities for BAI Engineering and delivery/execution on business agreed targets • Leadership across Product Service and 24/7 activities ensuring consistency of service and full rota coverage • Engineering Leadership across Manufacturing locations ensuring seamless translation of design into manufacture • Management of Product and Service lifecycle for the Hydro-Mechanical discipline • Diligent Control of Technical Change process
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Science based discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience • Proven Subsea experience across Production Controls technology • Experience driving the utilization of analytical tools to aid product/offering development • Experience in leading global teams and developing talent • Understanding of Subsea architecture and ability to translate that into a digital environment for purposes of proactive maintenance. • Practical knowledge of NPI and project requisition processes • Experience delivering projects on both small and large scales • Ability to travel internationally as required at short notice. • Fluent English Speaker
