Role Summary:
The GE2GE/OEM Service Leader plays an essential role in the sustainable, profitable growth of the Power Conversion services business. The candidate will lead the global GE2GE and OEM sales and business development activities and will be responsible for growing the GE2GE and OEM commitment globally.

Essential Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to work closely with the regional Sales teams, COE segment teams and Commercial operations teams ensuring pipeline growth, GE2GE business and OEM relationship development, prompt responsiveness to request of quotations and Customer meetings.
He or She shall also assist the regional sales, the segment and commercial operation teams to develop innovative service business models and commercial strategies to secure any service on on new units and the installed base, thus fulfilling Power Conversion Service growth targets through the implementation of each regional & segment growth strategies.
The candidate shall further:

  • proactively identify opportunities and work with the Region sales team & segments to propose customers unsolicited offers and solutions to address the maintenance service needs of the PC equipment.
  • develop new GE2GE and OEM accounts
  • liaise with PC Service product leadership team supporting NPI and upsell opportunities to the installed base fleet.
  • define a successful strategy to renew and/or extend existing LT agreements, enhancing customer satisfaction and overall profitability.
  • manage customer request for renegotiations of existing agreements and proactively seek opportunities to enhance existing agreements for the mutual benefit of customers and GE.
  • Global CoE for GE2GE and OEM Sales activities and business development
  • Lead and support Request for Quotations (RFQs) and/or for proposals relevant to service offerings
  • Drive commitment growth
  • Drive Blue Print implementation strategy
  • Be accountable for overall Project proposal strategy
  • Achieve financial and operational targets committed (eg.: identify new deals, new accounts, build up new opportunities)
  • Support the Sales teams in opportunity development/assessment with Customers
  • Identify with Application Engineering Team the best solutions to meet Customers' "Critical to Quality" (CTQs)
  • Lead his/her direct or extended team in:
    • Preparing commercial proposals, guarantee Quality completeness and Time responsiveness
    • Coordinate Functions (Legal, Finance, Manufacturing, Technical Assistance, Sales Force, Global Services P&Ls) during proposal preparation and follow-up
    • Define strategy on Price and Margin and leverage ROI evaluation.
    • Ensure compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment
    • Track, monitor and report the assigned project/s

      • BS Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
      • Very strong experience in a technical/commercial role, preferably developed in Oil & Gas, Power Generation or other industries Sectors
      • Fluency in English
      • Self-starter, high motivation level, strong leadership skills
      • Excellent presentation, communication and team building skills
      • Excellent commercial skills developed through his/her negotiation experience and knowledge of customer financial drivers
      • Strong commercial background in maintenance services contracts
      • Full availability to travel for business purposes world-wide

        Desired Characteristics:
        • Knowledge of GE PGS/GE Oil&Gas/OEM model
        • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
        • Italian language fluency
