Role Summary: The Services RePower Engineer will be responsible for application support and requisition fulfillment of CM&U’s (Conversions, Modifications and Upgrades) for the growing Wind installed base.
Essential Responsibilities: As a Services RePower Engineer, you will:
Support RePower operations for select customers from initial estimation through implementation and validation Support sales team by working directly with customers to identify potential products to meet their needs Cost estimation for engineered CM&U’s Respond to various technical questions regarding Wind Turbine products and systems solutions Act as single point of contact for technical decisions with project teams and end customers to ensure customer satisfaction and business success Effectively mitigate technical risks and, coordinate the resolution of all technical issues for RePower and CMU’s
Qualifications/Requirements: BS degree in related field plus 6 years of experience in related field or Master’s degree in related field plus 4 years of experience in related field or PhD degree in related field plus 2 years of experience.
Desired Characteristics: Working knowledge of the Wind Engineering CM&U and Design-to-Order processes Knowledge of Wind technology and the levers available to improve performance in an aftermarket setting. Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives. Proven experience in Requisition Engineering Proven experience in Configuration Management Proven strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization Proven success working with external customers, including the ability to find customer value and help the Sales team win deals Demonstrated ability in managing projects across functions. Capable of coaching others to accomplish assignments. Strong Oral and written communication skills
