Role Summary: Located in Cleveland, OH, this position will provide hands-on analysis at the GE Lighting headquarters. Responsibilities include developing customer & product fulfillment strategies to deliver required service levels, while maintaining effective inventory levels.
In addition you will :
Monitor weekly POS rates at the SKU level to see which SKU’s are performing above / below the demand index
Modify forecasts based on POS data trends to achieve error less than 20% to manage correct inventory levels
Work directly with distribution / transportation to identify transfers and areas to balance inventory to meet customer expectations
Work across all customers to expedite product to final distribution center and define corrective actions
Work with customer service on order management actions
Minimize cost / inventory to serve customers through collaboration, forecast accuracy, process improvements and managing daily operations
Lead account promotion plans to deliver over 100% fill rate
Clearly communicate risk and opportunities on service to customer and commercial team
Update supplier scorecards
Maintain / improve current replenishment communications to customers
Customer Scorecards: Develop process to collect customer scorecards and coordinate regular review and improvement action tracking
Consumer Service Weekly report:
Complete weekly Consumer Service report and summarize recovery actionsSKU Listing and Transition:
Process owner of the Fulfillment portion of SKU listing and SKU transition
Forecast Accuracy: Utilizing forecast accuracy reporting, perform monthly review with the CFM team and develop improvement actions
BS / BA from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, distribution and / or order management
Business Logistics or Supply Chain Management degree from an accredited university, college or institution
Green Belt certification
Replenishment work experience
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated strong analytical skills including proficiency in MS Excel & business objects
Effective interpersonal skills including customer relationship management
Demonstrated change agent and high personal initiative
