Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide cross-functional leadership and strategic direction for the Cardiovascular Imaging Technology business (CVIT).

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Established the vision and strategic plan for the Cardiology IT business unit to meet the needs of the market.
  • Establishes business strategies and objectives aligned with overall GE Healthcare goals and standards. Works collaboratively with business leaders within and outside of GE Healthcare Digital to drive prioritization, alignment, and execution of shared objectives
  • Defines product priorities and roadmaps and drives business performance across Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Implementation and Services, and commercial activities.
  • Responsible for business financial performance and achievement of profit goals. Manages key business financial performance indicators such as those on the operating statement and balance sheet
  • Close collaboration with marketing to translate practice needs, market analysis, competitive analysis, and regulatory environment factors into actionable strategies and tactics for the product.
  • Partner with internal and external domain experts to highlight emerging practice trends and product/content needs of the customer.
  • Conducting product research to further understand the competitive profile for the segment worldwide (where applicable) and opportunities for growth.
  • Working with marketing, engineering, and services on long-term product roadmaps, requirements, and business plans. Develops and motivates others on strategies, tactics, measurements, and operating mechanisms to deliver business results.
  • Oversees development of new and improved products and services, and works with regions to identify strategic opportunities for growth
  • Champions customer satisfaction and engagement by building and maintaining customer partnerships and ensuring that “voice of the customer” is reflected in work processes
  • Attracts and retains key talent and creates an environment which fosters employee engagement, diversity, professional development, high levels of employee satisfaction, and innovation.
  • Establishes operating mechanisms to ensure behavior consistent with integrity, quality systems, and safety requirements.
  • Evangelizes for the product by presenting to customers and users groups; represent the product at trade shows and with media; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning large deals; provide sales training, and generate enthusiasm for the product.


Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in software product management and/or development, including leadership responsibilities

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Healthcare digital domain experience required, with a preference for expertise in healthcare workflows and cardiology/imaging solutions
  • Proven ability to work at all levels, including with executives, managers and staff both internally and with customers
  • Proven understanding of technical requirements in a business environment
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving skills
  • Proven Project, People and financial management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical and process skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
  • Proven ability to work globally

    Desired Characteristics:

    The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience in:

  • Strategy Development and execution…track record of cultivating change
  • Proven Results/operational rigor – ability to cultivate existing people, products
    and processes
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Deep Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management
  • Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
  • Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
