Essential Responsibilities: • Drive product strategy in the country. Understand global product strategy and localize it. • Lead business growth on RT & CT product leading from application and technical side. • Provide technical and application support on existing and new RT & CT products such as X-ray, Film, Digital Conversion, CT to customers and field sales force. Support to include both technology features and performance related characteristics. • Work with internal sales at the field with demonstrations, presentations, training both products and application solutions to key influential customers / Channel • Review customer application requirements and provide technical recommendations and solutions. • Drive and facilitate the definition of key customer requirements in support of sales team. • Provide customer-focused application detail to all disciplines of a RT & CT project team including device designers, processing, packaging, and test and quality engineers to facilitate and optimize the quotation process. • Provide training support to the Sales force including training documentation and in-person courses. • Provide applications perspective of Voice of Customer (VOC) to aid the Global business strategy in both medium and longer-term. • Generate new product specifications and application notes to aid the RT & CT business and to become the resident expert and authority on both new and existing products
Qualifications/Requirements: • BS Engineering, Electronics or Mechanical preferred • Prior experience working in manufacture quality assurance or nondestructive testing field. Preferably in new product development and/or technical application-based technical support • Strong customer orientation, awareness and an external focus that provides market trend insight. • Demonstrate good organizational skills, a leading proactive approach to problem solving, strong work ethic and a determination to energize others, in a team environment, to support company goals and objectives. • Ability to simplify global strategies into specific actions that realize growth at the product development level and to execute upon them accordingly • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills • Ability to author and generate product application notes • Willingness to travel for short periods for key customer support ・業界を問わず放射線関連機器に関する業務に携わり、放射線検査を技術的に理解できる ・お客様の検査ニーズ、困り事を正確に把握し、経験を活かしてソリューションを提供できる ・ソリューションの提供に際し、ドイツ工場のエンジニアとコミュニケーションを取りながら、最適な方法を見つけだすことができる ・製品の操作方法に関するトレーニングを代理店およびエンドユーザーへ提供できる ・製品の技術的な問い合わせに対応できる ・新製品を日本国内へリリースするまでの、事前準備を実施することができる
Desired Characteristics: • Basic knowledge of NDT in major market segments including Aero, Transportation, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Metal & Casting, Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Experience in technical presentations and/or customer training. • Demonstrates a passion and curiosity for the NDT business and opportunities.
