Role Summary:
Demonstrate leadership in understanding Electrical Submersible Pump applications and artificial lift. Able to design and offer the optimal solution to the customer. The candidate will be an effective communicator to customers and internal stakeholders. You will utilize your experience or expertise to develop account plans and drive sales. These are exciting items for the oil & gas industry, and a new life for mature fields is where artificial lift, and ESPs in particular, play a key role.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • You will operate with integrity and display EHS leadership behaviour
  • You will own a portion of the Europe Production Solutions sales targets for your designated area(s) and customers with an emphasis on ESP
  • You will be the point person for your customers for all matters related to Production Solutions, and you will negotiate opportunities and contracts
  • Drive ESP sales campaigns for new contracts and proposals in assigned areas
  • Guard profitability of contracts or individual jobs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, both for commercial and operational matters (service delivery excellence)… you will be the voice of the customer towards internal stakeholders
  • Assure timely resolution of customer issues should they arise and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts/areas
  • Function as liaison between internal GE organizations and customers for assigned contracts/areas
  • Develop and implement business plan(s) to achieve/enhance profitability and work scoping
  • Monitor assigned product performance and initiate actions as required
  • Review invoice and collect cash in a timely manner if required
  • Assist in the establishment of productivity goals and organize and support program and technical review with customer
  • Generate regular program update for internal management
  • Work closely with Surface sales team / colleagues to ensure appropriate sales coverage across Europe
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions, and customer base within assigned areas
  • Provide ESP technical support and application design as necessary

  • Bachelor’s degree (engineering) from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Artificial Lift business and oilfield services

Desired Characteristics:

  • Self-motivated, customer focused and high commercial intensity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
  • Proven years of experience in ESP sales and technical support
  • Ability to work multiple project simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of customer organisations incl. senior management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
