Role Summary: Determine the commercial credit worthiness of GE’s customers within an industrial business(s) and considering aggregate parent risk exposure globally. Leverage the current risk models and gather additional data to perform analytics to; calculate risk scores, recommend commercial credit limits, determine credit terms, input key data customer set up in receivable system, credit order release, while meeting service level agreements that enable the industrial businesses commercial teams.
o Interface effectively with industrial business leadership to articulate the transactional risk and leveraging possible mitigating instruments
o Facilitate problem resolution and process optimization as it relates to risk platform interfaces and data quality
o Deliver a OneCredit commercial onboarding solution linking KYC, Credit, Terms, ERP Set Up and Order Release driving reduced hand offs and improved cycle time
o Effectively perform timely credit risk analysis on new and existing commercial customers as prompted by queuing structures or management direction leveraging multiple sources of data used in providing a recommended commercial credit limit
o Provide deep dive customer analytics typically consisting of; multi source financial ratings matrix, company background, financial statement analysis, global AR exposure, credit limit recommendation, SWOT analysis, industry performance and summary of key events
o Maintain high standards of data quality within the data sets for credit risk models and external reporting
o Support seamless new client onboarding to the Global Operations team and meeting ongoing service level agreement requirements
o Navigate effectively within multiple credit tools, receivable systems and internal processes to deliver accurate and timely credit risk recommendations (CREDITRISKMONITOR, Moody’s, eRAM, Salesforce, GECARS, Dun & Bradstreet, Bureau Van Djik, etc.)
o Ensure execution of the Industrial Risk policy and adherence to established delegation of authorities by the businesses and Global Operations
o Other tasks assigned by Manager or applicable leadership
o University degree or 4+ years equivalent experience
o 1+ Years Financial Services experience across Risk Management and/or Finance
o Industrial product knowledge, commercial risk management or lending
o Understanding commercial Risk Management techniques, concepts and business practices
o High degree of comfort working with technology, systems of record, data warehouses and utilization of advanced reporting tools
o Strong financial analysis knowledge and skills
o Excellent PC skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
Strong analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
