Role Summary: GE’s Water & Process Technologies offers the most comprehensive set of chemical and equipment solutions and services available, helping our customers manage and optimize their water resources and process challenges across industries and municipalities. It is our goal to enable our customers to meet increasing water demands, overcome scarcity challenges, enhance their environmental stewardship and comply with regulatory requirements.
Essential Responsibilities: As a manufacturing engineering co-op, you will:
Complete Failure Model Elemental Analyses (FMEAs) to determine opportunities for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) gap closure on our critical manufacturing equipment
Work on projects that will be focused on equipment availability, performance and quality
Full-time undergraduate or graduate program in one of the following engineering disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Have a minimum of 3.0 GPA (without rounding)
Have completed one full year of college
Ability and willingness to have reliable transportation
Strong commitment to career in engineering: design, manufacturing or production support
An analytic approach to problem solving
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong knowledge of computer and Microsoft products
Willingness and ability to learn from others
Demonstrated leadership and a team player
One who strives for academic success
Desire to work in a fast paced ever changing environment
