Role Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for providing manufacturing and/or engineering process support in accordance with documented procedures and practices. The Quality Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, improvement and continuous reinforcement of established Quality Assurance fundamental practices that are utilized in the local business, particularly in support of the manufacturing operations.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • • Participate with Manufacturing Engineer to elaborate flow chart and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis)
  • • Elaborate, implement and assure the fulfillment of the Quality Control Plan.
  • • Lead the process to corrective actions focused to down the internal and external PPM’s (Parts per million) and COQ (Cost of Quality).
  • • Involved in the liberation process of Work instructions, formats and visual aids.
  • • Implement and maintain the QMS (Quality Management System ).
  • • Maintain The PQMT (Plan Quality Measurement Tool).
  • • Lead implementation of Pokayokes.
  • • Assure product inspections in process and finish product.
  • • Assure auditory to process, Product and SCAT.
  • • Assure compliance with all agencies (UL, CSA, NVLAP, etc)



    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • •BS Mechanical/Industrial Degree
  • • Knowledge about ISO 9000 systems, ISO 9000 leader or internal auditor.
  • • Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • • Elaboration of flow charts, FMEA’s, PPAP’s and Quality Control Planes.
  • • Elaboration of R&R Studies.
  • • Analysis and solution of problems (DMAIC)
  • • Electrical tests basic knowledge
  • •Assure product inspections throughout the process.}
