Role Summary:
The Logistics & Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the day to day clearance, warehousing, Inventory and local transportation meeting the short term objectives resolving issues related to the operations through immediate action or short term planning. He will be responsible as well for maintaining the KPI’s/ Metrics meeting the customer requirement assuring that the company policy and international trade compliance regulations are adhered to.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. • Continuous internal communication with direct line manager and the key stakeholders.
• Maintain and control the tools and dashboards for metric visibility and communication.
• Monitoring the day to day warehousing, Inventory and local transportation meeting the short term objectives resolving issues related to the operations through immediate action or short term planning.
• Analysis of the local transportation spend and tie to the financial ledger.
• Coordinating and communicating shipment delivery requirements with freight forwarders
• Responsible for timely, accurate and complete record keeping.
• Manages the inventory in the 3PL warehouse
• Support the 3PL warehouse team in regards to GLPROD/Oracle transactions and support warehousing optimization/Lean projects.
• Support standardization of transportation processes from the distribution center to the end customers.
• Responsible for conducting timely cycle counts and physical inventory in time assuring KPI’s are met, driving inventory integrity
• Auditing, approving & creating POs for service providers invoices including freight forwarder, warehousing….etc.
• Monitoring & tracking all the orders scheduled for import being a single point of contact for the Regional Teams for all shipments.
• Help manage the last mile logistics transportation and distribution warehouse operations and drive the continuous improvements.
• Communicating the documentation requirements proactively to the OTR teams to ensure minimal delays post equipment arrival.
• Monitor and coordinate the inbound and outbound documentation with customs broker.
• Ensuring strong culture of Quality, Controllership and Regulatory Compliance in all the processes.

2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Qualifications/Requirements:
•• Bachelor's Degree preferably logistics or supply chain management (CPIM/CSCM is a plus).
• Minimum of 2-4 years of operational logistics, warehousing, inventory management, import/export and customs expertise.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional with proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
• Excellent project management and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal & Communication skills-Confident communicator verbally and written
• Experience working in a compliant supply chain with sufficient knowledge of commercial function.
• Team Player -Ability to work with different functions of the organization.
