As the APM Product Analytics & Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for the design and execution of effective pricing & costing strategies and tactics that could ultimately deliver optimal customer outcome and maximize the business performance of our Asset Performance Management portfolio.
You will partner with the GE Digital Global Commercial organization to drive Commercial rigor and enable process simplification for quick Commercial turnaround and achievement of APM’s orders, revenue, and contribution margin goals.
You will also be responsible for establishing a data-driven culture within the APM Product Management organization through building a systematic analytics framework linking market data with the APM financial performance and enabling analytics-driven decision making in planning & budgeting cycles and ongoing profitability discussions.
As the APM Product Analytics & Pricing Manager for the Asset Performance Management portfolio, you will serve the industrial world’s most demanding customers, deliver optimal Go-to-Market strategies through continuous learnings empowered by data, explore new business models to grow the APM ecosystem, and enable the achievement of APM’s revenue & profitability target.
You will lead our efforts by building a deep understanding of customer needs and industry dynamics through market and product data/analytics, designing a pricing and costing structure that delivers great customer engagement experience and outcome, and optimizing the financial performance of our business driven by data science and analytics rigor, a set of capabilities which are essential to our success.
Accountable for defining the commercial structure & pricing strategy of the new APM portfolio that aligns with APM product position and Go-to-Market strategies, encourages ecosystem partnership, and drives optimal consumption behavior in the market.
Leverage industry best practices and lead initiatives such as license to SaaS conversion model and ecosystem contribution & pricing structure to remove friction of market adoption and encourage the participation in APM ecosystem.
Drive competitive analysis that provides an understanding of how APM's price and offering compares to others and integrate with win-loss analysis; Continually monitor industry dynamics and trends, and anticipates impact of the change. Cultivates a culture that proactively uses data to drive growth.
Track and drive profitability analysis based on pricing strategies and decisions.
Provide ongoing support to the GE Digital Commercial organization to enable APM Commercial activity and ensure deal velocity & momentum. Design & execute programs to promote pricing & costing transparency within the Commercial organization to drive understanding, and establish feedback mechanism from the field to input in ongoing pricing analysis & improvements.
Drive simplification and automation of pricing processes to improve overall Inquiry to Order Process.
Lead the analysis on pricing, costing, and billing at product level to ensure the overall financial healthiness of the APM product portfolio.
Provide thought leadership and execution around building a sustainable APM financial model in line with business growth opportunities and vertical/regional strategies, and establishing an ongoing mechanism to operationalize the model supporting business planning cycles & enabling commercial performance evaluation.
Drive an objective and analytical process to support strategic decision-making with GE APM Leadership team; Leverage external data such as market shifting trends, customer behaviors and internal data such as deal wins/losses to identify APM business opportunities & best Commercial practices.
Professionally challenge cross-functional teams to substantiate and defend investments in order to ensure acceptable ROI thresholds are met and performance accountability is understood, accepted, and can be measured objectively.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Finance, Product Management, or other technical / Software field and 5+ years of Software or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Product Management, Commercial Program Management, and/or Software Financial Modeling.

Experience in large scale Agile Product Management teams
Experience with SaaS is a plus
Evangelizes new technology, predicts trends, and identifies new opportunities based on trends
Experience engaging with customers in all phases of the product cycle - from pre-sales to ongoing operational delivery and support is a plus.
Able to lead current and evolving initiatives across the matrix, leveraging global resources across verticals, business partners, and vendor resources as needed.
Ability to act as a change-agent and exhibit strong leadership capabilities in a rapidly scaling digital business.
Strong team player - collaborates well cross-functionally to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources; has experience working with others on a global basis; applies knowledge to coach and mentor others.
