Role Summary:
Duties can vary between onshore and offshore locations depending on complexity and criticality. In general, Customer Field Superintendent is typically the point of contact for the Customer, actively participating in Between Well Maintenance planning, provides input concerning GE System installed base at fleet level, ensure testing procedures for BOP are in compliance with company and regulatory procedures, and safely manage/lead plan and unplanned events.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Customer Field Superintendent, you will:

  • Implement operation safety policy instructions and conduct field work in compliance with all EHS applicable regulations and employee safety practices
  • Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership, and compliance
  • Be responsible for identifying cost-out opportunities
  • Lead Six Sigma process improvements
  • Be accountable for training, mentoring and developing the Lead FSE on each rig. Will conduct performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement of skillset
  • Be accountable to coordinate and direct the specialists on his team to promote the success of the process on each rig; driving lessons learned and fleet wide continuous improvement
  • Be responsible for interfacing with Customer providing technical view and assisting during planning phase
  • Be responsible to maintain and support the rig’s schedule as directed by Customer CSA Manager and Global Field Services Leader and allocate specialists suitably
  • Be responsible for interfacing with Client and Operator to provide System level assistance and job execution (per fleet/rig) progress
  • Be responsible for directing and managing offshore teams during planned and unplanned (rig down) events

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution and a minimum 7 years of experience in a field services position)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a field services position

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong Well Control System operational background and experience
  • Project Management or Program Management experience
  • Engineering degree preferred, or commensurate working and professional experience
  • Track record of identifying, developing and executing business critical initiatives and strategies
  • Possesses strong passion for ensuring voice of customer is included in solutions
  • Strong clear thinking abilities and ability to communicate effectively with customers, Field Service personnel and different functions within GE Organization
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally
