Role Summary: As the Accounting Operations Leader in a designated country you will partner with other GE Businesses to execute the full scope of services required. Act as the liaison to other GE Businesses to work to deliver strong services, and ensure compliance across all operations.
Become the liaison and business partner of GE Businesses operating in the country in order to be able to execute on shared service requirements
Build strong and open communication channels with GE Businesses and shared service contacts to deliver strong service quality with reduced cost
Closely monitor the operational team and external 3rd party/vendor performance through development of operational reviews
Lead, coach, coordinate and motivate the local shared service team in order fully engage the team by promoting and developing talent, strengthening pipeline and promoting reward & recognition
Ensure Controllership and Compliance practices are adhered to across the operations and aligned with applicable GE policies and practices, and government regulations.
BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
Minimum 3 years of tax or finance experience role preferably at a big four or international big four auditors firm.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Argentinian tax system including the local documentation and filing requirements.
Experience of audit & tax process, ability to work with external auditors and tax advisors.
Strong knowledge of tax Compliance issues, including all regulatory compliance environment.
Strong knowledge of Deferred taxes US & ARG GAAP.
Strong knowledge of Income Tax ARG & TOMPI ARG,
Strong knowledge of Turnover Tax CM03 & CM05
Strong knowledge of Provincial Tax & Provincial Software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills / bilingual (English/Spanish).
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), Oracle & SAP.
Excellent time management & organizational skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, perform in a fast-paced environment & respond quickly.
