The Legal Integration Manager will become the M&A integration expert in GE Digital for the function. The person in this position will be responsible for supporting and overseeing the coordination of all legal activities and milestones for M&A integrations executed by GE Digital.
In this role you will:
Lead the planning and execution of internal integration activities for the legal function; Coach the legal integration team members on the development and execution of integration plans
Support cross-functional integration teams on matter requiring legal support; Identify legal needs and engage internal and external subject matter legal experts as required to mitigate or remediate risks and achieve defined integration milestones
Lead pre-integration planning for successful performance, identify potential integration issues and opportunities, make recommendations for solutions and drive consensus agreement.
Work closely with the Business General Counsel and other Legal Staff members to ensure all GE requirements are met
Contribute to development of an integration toolkit comprising comprehensive and effective tools, templates, processes, integration portals and management reports that facilitate ongoing and future acquisitions
Continually review the deal process for legal integration implications; Maintain a working knowledge of current and proposed GE Digital best practices and compliance policies, emerging issues and compelling events to determine how to evolve the integration process
Build a strong network across all stakeholders of the GE Digital organization: enabling functions, commercial, technology teams, etc.; Act as cross-functional interface between integration team, functional leaders, and external parties.
As required, partner with the Business Development team to provide legal integration insights during the due diligence process
Train integration teams as needed on legal integration planning and tools
Manage, track, and communicate integration project tasks, status, and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner
Develop strong understanding of core GE Digital business and the acquired businesses and propose practical steps to bring them together
Must be able to come up with creative and practical solutions to meet both business and legal needs
A law degree from an accredited US Law School
Admission to at least one state bar or the D.C. bar
Minimum of 7 years of experience of practice in legal fields, including areas of development, use, commercialization and/or sale of software and technology solutions

Travel as required; Based out of San Ramon, CA or other key GE Digital U.S. location.
Experience in acquisition integration in a legal workstream of a large complex multi-national company
In-house legal experience focused on software sales or product development a plus
Understanding of the existing Internet of Things (IoT) landscape, ecosystem and enterprise software market opportunities is a strong plus
Knowledge or experience with technology transactions a strong plus
Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility both externally and internally across functions
Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
Proven organizational and project management skills; ability to multi-task and work on several assignments concurrently; detail oriented
Self-motivated and team-oriented, able to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team
Ability to demonstrate leadership and interact confidently with experienced attorneys and executives
Broadly conversant with issues in corporate law, data privacy, compliance, labor & employment, and intellectual property, with strong issue-spotting skills.
