Role Summary: The HPM Shared Services Project Support & Vendor Management Leader will be responsible for create the standard processes and improve the quality, visibility for vendor management operational day-to-day execution for our vendor management model. Core responsibilities are delivered to both the HPM Directors of Project Management (DPM’s) and Project Managers of Installation (PMI’s) in our region.
Essential Responsibilities: 1. Creation standard processes of vendors(Rigging, install, Mechanical install,Lhe,Resell) 2. VCP (Variable Cost Productivity) generation through the management of vendors 3. VCP through improved efficiencies of supplier scheduling, field communication & coordination 4. Analytics of monthly supplier spend – feeding process improvement & VCP funnel 5. Strategic improvements for developing process efficiencies for Project Managers 6. Connecting with regional peers to share HPM vendor management best practices 7. Partnership with leadership in APAC and India to be the HPM Shared Services leader for their Vendor Management activities
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Bachelors Degree and 4 – 6 years of experience. 2. Demonstrated ability to carry on multiple projects simultaneously 3. Outstanding interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills . 4. Proven ability to lead in a matrixed environment. 5. Highly motivated & clear thinker
Desired Characteristics: 1. Prior Healthcare Project Management (HPM) experience 2. Experience building, empowering and leading talented cross functional teams 3. Ability to build and promote organizational change management initiatives 4. Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills 5. Proven leadership and effective decision-making capabilities 6. Proven project management experience in complex environments 7. Ability to make formal presentations (internal and external) 8. English language written & spoken
