Role Summary: In this role you will partner with the Avio Aero Engineering organizations, a client group of 650 based in Italy and Poland, providing HR support for Leaders and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. This role requires a seasoned expertise within a field comprising of different approaches, methodologies, techniques and processes.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role you will be leadership partner who develops & executes organization-level HR strategies to align structure, culture & talent with business goals. You will regularly advise management in the functions, demonstrating a sound ability to communicate complex messages at all level of the organization. You will maintain a strong communication with the Aviation Engineering organizations to ensure alignment, best practices and talent sharing.
• Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple managers and employees with specific focus on: employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations as appropriate • Partner with HR Business Partners, EHRM Leaders and CoE's to execute business specific HR strategies • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment • Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like performance development, Salary Planning, New Employee Orientation and New Manager Assimilation and assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (Economics, Legal, Labor Relations, Humanistic, Psychology) • Significant professional work experience in the Human Resources function -preferably in an Industrial context-both as client support and CoE • Labor Relations experience • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. • Established project management skills. • High proficiency in English • Expertise in MS Office • EU work permit
Desired Characteristics: • Experience with different GE businesses is a plus • International experience • HRLP graduate a plus (GE internal only)
