Essential Responsibilities: Nature of work:
In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): • Support and analyze financials for the Turbomachinery and Downstream Technology business lines. • Ensure accurate reporting of long term Contract Service Agreements and Progress Billing contracts. • Support the controllership group by preparing Balance Sheet analysis, responding to questions, etc. • Continually work to improve processes and provide input to SAP support team related to system improvements. • Prepare monthly reports for management and the Operations team. • Support the quarterly Account Reconciliation process by guiding junior staff responsible for the preparation. • Contribute to building the quarterly forecasts and Op plans. • Support the monthend close and yearend close with the preparation of miscellaneous journal entries and analysis of the ledger to ensure accuracy and completion. • Collaborate with the Operations team to analyze business performance. • The role allows interaction with high-level management, as well as exposure to other functions. • Ad-hoc analysis/reporting as required with questions received from the Canadian, US and Italy locations.

Skills: • Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; • SAP experience is desired • Strong analytical skills; • Demonstrated competency understanding accounting principles; • Flexible and adaptable • Strong level of knowledge of Excel
Education: • CPA designation preferred • University Bachelor Degree in course of completion in Accounting Finance or Business Administration
