Role Summary: The Marketing Campaign Manager focuses on driving effective global marketing campaigns at the regional level that lead to pipeline growth. The Marketing Campaign Manager will plan, create, and execute marketing campaigns for GE Oil & Gas, Digital Solutions. In this role, a strong knowledge of marketing automation will be necessary to coordinate campaign design and follow-up, along with expertise in campaign management and lead management.
Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for reporting on the performance of the various programs such as email performance, pipeline contribution, conversion and sales impact. The role will also partner and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations and IT resources. In addition, you will:
• Plan, design, and execute email marketing, webinar and other campaigns using Marketo • Ensure all leads are being tracked, scored and routed appropriately • Coach the Inside Sales team that responds and qualifies each new lead via phone or email. Partner on script development and value prop validation • Manage partner execution arm to import all leads from external programs and build weekly reports on the success of each program • Use campaign data to drive sales engagement and business learning. Glean insights from plan and actual campaign data and drive improvement in execution process and tactic selection • Establish self as system expert in marketing automation lead generation program design & execution providing best practice consultancy to Field Marketing & marketing automation colleagues on program, asset, nurture creation & execution • Research and test application of best practice techniques to improve email deliverability, response rates & overall MA program effectiveness • Review and approve all web forms to ensure field accuracy and correct data flow • Investigate and implement new processes, technologies, services and/or vendor solutions that complement Marketo and enhance the capabilities and effectiveness of marketing organization. • Define business success factors. • Provide subject matter expertise in the application of marketing automation practices to meet defined business goals
Qualifications/Requirements: • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Direct Marketing, Database Marketing or a combination • Minimum of 2 years of experience using / administering a marketing automation platform, experience implementing, using and troubleshooting marketing automation technology and Sales CRM experience
Desired Characteristics: • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Direct Marketing, Database Marketing or a combination • Minimum of 2 years of experience using / administering a marketing automation platform, experience implementing, using and troubleshooting marketing automation technology and Sales CRM experience • Marketo Certified Expert • Ability to create landing pages and email templates in Marketo and then implement them for specific programs • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and reporting analytics • Experience leveraging social media to promote events and programs • Experience with programs such as content syndication, email purchases, and external webinars • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to work and act independently and as part of a team • High level of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment • Experience with planning, leading, and performing change management, communications, and training activities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading teams to obtain results without direct report authority • Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver • Ability to learn and define business processes and operationalize via supporting technology • Highly self-motivated contributor who works well as an individual and within a team environment • Excellent organization skills; capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously • Willing to travel up to 20% of the time
