Role Summary:
The Region FP&A analyst would provide Base Cost and other finance support to a GEHC business region

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide Base Cost reporting and analytics by function / channel / product / account along with relevant walks showing vs OP / Estimate / Last year
• Monthly Estimates process and regular monitoring thereof
• Maintain consistent and effective closing procedures and provide timely and accurate reporting across teams spanning multiple countries and legal entities
• Partnering with Global Ops team to ensure correct accounting and working with them to ensure that Quarter / Year close happens smoothly and in accordance with established procedures and practices
• NPI Programs and Software Capitalization impact
• Sales, Orders and Backlog reporting and analysis
• Contract / Non-contract service revenue analysis
• Inter-company billing and cross charges
• Marketing and R&D Program costs reporting and analysis
• Finding and proposing cost out opportunities and restructuring
• Comply with local and US GAAP reporting requirements as well as internal GE policies and procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:
• This position is open to internal and external candidates
• Masters degree in Accounting / Finance – CA / ICWA / MBA. Intermediate with a higher relevant experience in FP&A can also be considered
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience
• Excellent analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, etc. Strong Excel skills in data compilations and aggregation (pivot tables, Vlookup etc)
• Self-motivated, high energy

• Experience working in a global environment with sound understanding of global processes and transaction flows
• Proven financial leadership in supporting multiple & complex organizations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with remote managers and teams
