Role Summary:
We’re looking for a candidate for the VAT team who can support us with our daily tasks. During the internship we’ll aim to involve the candidate into the VAT related activities and provide a broad picture of the team’s responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
    The candidate will support the VAT team members in the following tasks:
  • Preparation and analysis of VAT returns through ERP VAT report on a
    monthly /bi-monthly/ quarterly basis
  • Preparing standard Intrastat, EU Sales reports + country specific other VAT related
    reports if required
  • Monthly preparation of account reconciliations for the whole range of VAT accounts
  • Quarterly detailed account reconciliations in corporate account reconciliations tool
  • Reconciliation of import documents


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar BA/MA
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles (PnL, Balance Sheet, Subledger VS GL, Accruals, Debits/Credits, Monthly closure)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Advanced excel user - especially the use of pivot tables & look up functionality
  • English knowledge
  • Good communication and influencing skills;
  • Open personality with a proactive approach to adopt changes
  • Availability to work 25-40 hours/week

  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
