Role Summary: This position works closely with the various GEHC Digital business teams to develop and lead strategy, business decisions and execution for top assigned strategic partnerships. The success of these partnerships will be measured by the positive impact to orders and revenue, market awareness and demand creation and the level of partner engagement in support of business team objectives.
This role will be responsible for supporting business-wide partnership imperatives by creating and nurturing relationships while driving improvements to market share, sales growth and process simplification.
This position will also include management of special partner related projects by driving collaborative and joint initiatives with and through key alliances. Key responsibilities include:
Develop new and manage existing and long term partnerships to optimize GTM and Technical relationships, marketing opportunities, and joint new sales opportunities. Coordinate joint marketing plans and strategies to promote and communicate value proposition to global market and respective customer communities.
Work with Sales, Service and Marketing teams to design effective sales and marketing implementation strategies to maximize partnership related opportunities.
Collaborate with Product Management and partner product experts to implement joint technical initiatives.
Negotiate collaborative agreements to formalize joint initiatives and to create appropriate governance.
Track and report partnership related sales and other result metric activity to quantify results.
Serve as a liaison between external strategic partners and internal engineering, marketing, and sales team to fill product or service gaps to enhance existing and new solutions(s).
Work effectively with x-functional peers in Product, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Legal, Engineering and Finance to ensure coordination while crafting complex partnerships and bringing them to fruition
Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferably STEM or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic alliance or partner management roles preferably in the IT or healthcare technology industries;
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills
Strong business development, project management, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to effectively work in a team environment as well as independently
Strong understanding of product differentiation and competitive strategy techniques
Ability to work with customers and vendors on both a business and technical level
Experience in financial analysis, business case development, and financial modeling
Well-developed presentation and communication skills, including the ability to effectively deliver information to internal and external constituents at all levels.
Travel is required up to 40%; including international.
General knowledge of the inpatient and ambulatory healthcare industry
Prior experience working with or for national system integrator or consulting company
Association of Strategic Alliance Professional Certification (CA-AM or CSAP) preferred
