Role Summary: This role is the Finance Analyst for the Operations and Technology functions for the Digital Solutions (DS) business, a division within GE Oil &. DS is a ~$2.5B high-growth business and includes 21 manufacturing sites globally as well a variety of sales offices across the globe. This role supports the DS Global Operations and Technology leaders and staff, and reports to the DS Global Supply Chain (GSC) Finance Leader.
Essential Responsibilities: This role is expected to drive analytics and reporting mechanisms for the DS business relating to Supply Chain, Quality, Sourcing, NPI, and requisition engineering. The role provides opportunities to drive profitability, process improvements, simplification and compliance across the business.
In the role of Lead Financial Analyst - Global Supply Chain, you will:
Be a partner to the Operations and Technology teams to drive business profitability
Partner with the Operations leadership team to drive analysis and reporting
Drive variable cost productivity through project, rate and projects mix understanding
Financial planning for Operations and Engineering functions – Growth Playbook, OP and BPR
Manage analysis for global NPI release and performance and say / do.
Enhance and own quarterly dashboards managing key KPIs for Operations and Technology
Dive deep into data: ERPs, Data warehouse and Hyperion to analyze trends, ad hoc analysis
Complete monthly/ quarterly post close reporting packages analyzing results versus key comparable
Drive compliance and controllership across the business
Ensure adherence to US GAAP and Local GAAP requirements relating to P&E and Software amortization
Own Technology finance reporting and forecasting routines
Lead key planning cycles as well as own all quarterly & monthly forecasts to the business
Complete monthly post close reporting packages analyzing results versus key comparable
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 3 years of corporate/ business finance experience
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to execute across multiple priorities independently & decisively
Effectively communicates across all levels of management & staff
Experience with Oracle, SAP, Business Objects & Hyperion a plus
GE FMP/PFLP/Audit Staff highly desired
