Role Summary:
The Inspector will be responsible for QC inspections at the manufacturing facility level to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards. Must have QC experience with Dimensional, Hardness, Mag, LP and working knowledge of measuring tools and calibration.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Quality Control Inspector, you will:

  • Perform inspections of oilfield related API 6A products to ensure compliance with specified requirements at the receiving, in-progress and final stages of the process in the following disciplines: Visual inspection, Dimensional inspection, Hardness testing, Review of certification documentation
  • Review job order package for revision control and tested products
  • Enter and retrieve data from the Quality department's online databases such as Non-Conformance Reports, Supplier Deviation Reports and Corrective Action Reports
  • Perform and review NDT (Non Destructive Testing) level II for compliance with applicable, Weld Inspection - ASME, Sec. IV, Calibration of Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution
  • Minimum 2 year of quality control experience and/or training

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to maintain a LP and MP certification
  • Ability and willingness to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
  • Ability and willingness to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
  • Ability and willingness to be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
  • Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability and willingness to be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
  • Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Certified Mechanical Inspector
  • Blueprint reading and Interpretation
  • Use and selection of inspection test and measurement instruments
