Essential Responsibilities

 

-Coordinate and set direction to the Inventory leaders in the Sites and Cells in order to deliver the OP quarterly inventory targets for the business (balance & SMI)

-Organizing all the activities for the yearly inventory planning submissions (OP, SII, GPB), providing the relevant outcome with

associated reporting

-Performing the regular Inventory balance estimate for the current quarter, providing drivers understanding and

identification of areas of improvements

-Performing regular analysis on the dynamics of the Purchase Orders to be received in the period, to control the “input” term

of the Inventory equation

-Optimizing the MRP system driven processes having a clear understanding of their impact on inventory and finance.

-Participating in reporting Inventory status and progresses to senior management in the different operating rhythms at

-Establish & utilize existing reporting on inventory segments (Raw, WIP, FG, In-transit, SMI, Days On Hand)) to build different

stratifications useful to understand dynamics, identify critical areas and promote improvements

-Proposing and developing additional metrics to support initiatives and promoting improvements to the inventory balances,

studying and developing additional business reporting

-Partnering with the MFG sites/cells and Material management to promote the actions aimed to the improvement of the

inventory balance/turns.

-Put in place all the actions and operating processes aimed to prevent and reduce the Obsolescence due to Slow Moving

Inventory

-Establish standardized inventory control mechanisms to eliminate inventory deficits at sites (Controlled stockrooms, cycle

count routines, Physical Inventory processes)

-Supporting the Quarter end inventory processes

-Sharing with Inventory and site Material managers, the goal of continuous improvement in inventory efficiency and turns

increase
